Here's a sample of my NEW GODZILLA!
For this rendition of the G-man, I tried to stick closer to the classic image and only extending the design as opposed to actually changing it.
The only real notable changes are the legs. I wanted it to have digitigrade legs like a carnosaur, but still wanted them to look stocky and appear as though they are composed of rugged muscle.
And no, I refuse to add duclaws. I have tried it several times and it just does not work no matter how you do it for Godzilla. He's GOT to have the recognizable 4 toes. I know the pushed back 4th toe on the suits was the impression of a duclaw, but it still looked cool; very primitive.
Therefore, I invented a way for the creature have digitigrade legs while still allowing the recognizable shape of the foot.
I'm still very proud of the last design I did. Overall, it went over pretty well. However, I'm happier with this one with it's accuracy.
